Dr. George Yanulis, D. Eng.

Dr. George Yanulis, Doctor of Engineering, Applied Biomedical Engineering

Dr. Yanulis, D. Eng. is the CEO and Principal Engineer for GY Medical Device Consulting LLC. He is an experienced Medical Device Research & Development Engineer with over twenty years of experience with all types of cardiac implantable systems to include vascular stents, cardiac pacing devices, ventricular assist devices, cardiac echocardiography and electrophysiology devices, physiological monitoring equipment; surgical devices; neurological therapy devices; and medical imaging systems.

Dr. Yanulis, D. Eng. brings a solid understanding of all aspects of field research, pre-clinical trial implementation, product development, and FDA protocols while offering unique and valuable insights into product development from a variety of key perspectives. Some of his previous research work conducted at the Cleveland Clinic involved conscious testing of animal subjects for research studies related to the use and effectiveness of a novel cardiac pacing device. In this previous role in the Departments of Cardiovascular Medicine and Biomedical Engineering at the Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner Research Institute, he provided preoperative and postoperative monitoring and care of test subjects. He has also monitored and collected data during the surgical implantation of pacing devices, and is working to determine the efficacy of a new stimulation paradigm as sustained therapy for chronic heart failure with or without atrial fibrillation.

Diana Dunn BSN, RN

Diana Dunn is a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse who has extensive knowledge in both neonatal and maternal healthcare. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Drexel University and has been an integral part of the NICU/ Women’s Health for the last 2 years. Ms. Dunn’s background will help expand the scope of GY Medical Device Consulting, LLC.
